What we did on this floor
On a floor this size, the right equipment is everything. We deployed our ride-on grinding machine and made the first cuts across the slab, patching as we went. The ride-on system runs wet, which keeps airborne dust to a minimum and makes the whole process cleaner — important in a working warehouse. Its weight and speed let us cover the large footprint fast, keep the timeline tight, and stay competitive on price.
We worked through the slab’s grit levels with the ride-on machine, then used a ride-on scrubber to lift the waste slurry and dispose of it responsibly. With the slab clean, we applied sealers and hardeners for the grind and seal finish. The concrete was old, with plenty of rustic character, but it cleaned up smooth — and most importantly, the floor and joints were leveled so forklifts and equipment move across them easily.
