When Toyota was fitting out one of its auxiliary development labs in Torrance, California, they brought in Stellar Surfaces to lay down the concrete grind and seal finish they’d specified. The warehouse floor was beaten up and heavily worn — the short video below shows how we restored it into a clean, low-sheen surface ready for new development and production to move in.

What we did on this floor
Toyota specified a grind and seal finish, and the slab needed real work to get there. Our crew brought in heavy grinding equipment and profiled the floor, taking out the high spots and leveling the uneven sections. We mixed and installed patch into the joints and cracks, then made a second grinding pass to even everything out.
From there we applied two coats of a heavy-solids acrylic sealer and burnished the surface to lock it in, finishing with a low-sheen matte gloss. The result is a clean, easily maintained floor — a fresh look ready for brand-new development and production to move in.
