What we did on this floor
This was a grind and seal delivered on a tight, economical budget. We cut back the floor and smoothed off the surface, stripping out what was left on the slab — old carpet glue and tile. Years of use had left the concrete with holes, cracks, and chipped divots, so we filled and patched everything flush.
Once the surface was smooth, we applied a sealer with a hardening system across the floor and finished it flat and matte to the client’s spec. The outcome is a durable, rustic-industrial finish and a room that’s back in service.
